Paid-for Bulk Image Uploader

PhotoResize is a paid-for application that lends itself to bulk image uploads, whilst allowing a generous deal of control over the final imported image file. Resizing, renaming and fine-tuning of images can all be done via the software when an upload is initiated. This saves time as you no longer need to perform these tasks on a file-by-file basis.

Bulk File Upload

PhotoResize does more than just resize image files. A broad variety of image editing controls offer flexibility over the final result, with both resolution and sharpness controls included. PhotoResize can both preserve the metadata of your images when migrating them into your computer, as well as maintaining the file-folder hierarchy within the target folder for the import. What's more, you have direct control over resizing and renaming images in bulk uploads, whilst adding prefixes, suffixes or numbering conventions to image file names. This is a paid-for software application, so it's worth bearing in mind that free alternatives exist, as do other paid-for alternatives, such as iResize for Mac.

In summary

PhotoResize, or any similar application, is not necessarily a must-have for batch-uploading photos. However, if you're editing a large volume of image files on a regular basis, then it makes sense to use a bulk uploader tool.
